Description

Enjoy crispy, flavorful Air Fryer Pickle Chips at home with this easy recipe. These tangy pickle chips are coated in a seasoned breadcrumb mixture and air-fried until perfectly crunchy. A delicious and healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried pickles!

Ingredients

Dill Pickle Chips:

2 cups dill pickle chips (drained and patted dry),

Breading:

½ cup all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, 1 tablespoon water, 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional), ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, cooking spray.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Breading Stations: Place flour in a shallow bowl. In a second bowl, whisk eggs with water. In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat Pickle Chips: Working in batches, coat each pickle chip in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly so crumbs stick.
  4. Air Fry: Arrange coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Serve hot with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Make sure pickles are well dried before breading to keep the coating crisp.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
