Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare Beef Sauce: In a large skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, sugar, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and flavors develop.
