Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of summer with this Berry Tiramisu Trifle. Layers of ladyfingers soaked in orange juice, creamy mascarpone mixture, and a medley of fresh berries create a luscious and visually stunning dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Ladyfinger Layer:

  • 1 package (7 ounces) ladyfinger cookies
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Berry and Cream Layers:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (optional)

Garnish:

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mascarpone Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange liqueur until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Assembly: Lightly dip each ladyfinger into orange juice and arrange a single layer in the bottom of a large glass trifle dish. Spread one-third of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with one-third of the mixed berries. Repeat the layers twice more, ending with berries on top.
  3. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, macerate the berries with 1 tablespoon sugar and a splash of orange juice before layering.
  • This trifle is best served the same day for the freshest berry texture.
