Instructions

- Add buttermilk: Make a well in the center, pour in the cold buttermilk, and stir gently until just combined.
- Shape the dough: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle, and fold it for flaky layers.
- Cut and bake: Cut out biscuits using a round cutter, place on the baking sheet, brush with buttermilk, and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
