  • 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta

Chicken and Shrimp:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare Chicken and Shrimp: Toss chicken and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook Chicken and Shrimp: Brown chicken in olive oil, then cook shrimp until pink and opaque. Set aside.
  4. Make the Sauce: Sauté bell peppers, garlic, then add cream and broth. Simmer and melt in Parmesan.
  5. Combine and Serve: Add pasta, chicken, and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to coat well. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
