Seafood Boil:

  • 1 lb snow crab legs
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined or shell-on)
  • 1 lb mussels or clams (cleaned)
  • 1 lb smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 4 ears corn (cut into halves)
  • 1 lb baby red potatoes
  • 1 lemon (cut in half)
  • 1 head garlic (halved)
  • 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 quarts water

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Seafood Boil: In a large stockpot, combine water, lemon, garlic, Cajun seasoning, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Boil, add potatoes, cook 10 minutes. Add corn, sausage, boil 5–7 minutes. Add crab, shrimp, mussels, cook 5–6 minutes.
  2. Make Garlic Butter Sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic. Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, lemon juice, red pepper. Stir in parsley.
  3. Finish Dish: Drain seafood, transfer to tray. Pour garlic butter sauce over, toss gently. Serve with lemon wedges.
