Cookie Dough:

- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop and Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Gently press each ball down slightly. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are soft.
- Cool and Enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
