Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 16 ounces crescent roll dough sheets (2 cans, 8 ounces each)
Cream Cheese Spread
- 7 ½ ounces whipped chive cream cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
Vegetables for Decoration
- 1 red bell pepper (cored and seeds removed)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (cored and seeds removed)
- 1 ¼ cups broccoli florets (small dice)
- ½ cup cauliflower florets (small dice)
- 2 tablespoons carrots (grated)
- 5 cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 2 tablespoons red onion (finely diced)
- 1 green onion (thinly sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Crust: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Overlap the crescent dough sheets to fit a 10×15-inch baking sheet, pinching the seams to seal closed. Fold under any excess dough around the edges to create a neat crust. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Mix and Spread Cream Cheese Layer: In a medium bowl, combine the whipped chive cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and well blended. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crescent dough, leaving about an inch of crust visible around the edges.
- Create Veggie Star Shapes: Use two different sized star-shaped vegetable cutters to cut star shapes from the red and yellow bell peppers. Reserve the larger stars to decorate the top of the Christmas tree design.
- Draw Christmas Tree Outline: Use a butter knife to gently draw an outline of a Christmas tree shape onto the cream cheese layer.
- Decorate with Vegetables: Fill the Christmas tree shape with the small diced broccoli florets. Dot cauliflower florets over the cream cheese spread outside the tree shape for a snowy effect. Sprinkle grated carrots all over the tree portion for color and texture. Place the larger bell pepper star at the top of the tree and scatter the smaller stars randomly on the tree as ornaments. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes on the tree to mimic ornaments. Finally, sprinkle the finely diced red onion and thinly sliced green onion evenly across the pizza.
- Slice and Serve: Carefully slice into 12 portions and serve immediately. Enjoy this colorful and festive veggie pizza as a perfect holiday appetizer or snack.
