- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Heat the Skillet: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté Onion: Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
- Add Mushrooms: Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until browned, about 6–8 minutes.
- Cook Rice: Add rice, cook for 1–2 minutes to coat with flavors.
- Add Broth: Pour in broth, stir in thyme, and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 15–18 minutes until rice is tender.
- Finish Dish: Stir in cream and Parmesan, cook for 2–3 minutes until creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

- You can use brown rice, but adjust cooking time and liquid.
