  • 150 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 small bunch fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Penne Pasta: Boil penne pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: Sauté garlic in olive oil, then add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and chili flakes. Simmer until thickened.
