Sauces & Cheese
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
Pasta & Vegetables
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
Spices & Seasonings
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Others
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat, then season the meat with garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Prepare the crockpot: Spray the bottom and sides of the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Layer the base: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the crockpot.
- First ravioli layer: Arrange half of the frozen ravioli over the marinara sauce in a single layer.
- Add ricotta: Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, spreading it gently to cover evenly.
- Add ground beef: Layer half of the seasoned cooked ground beef on top of the ricotta.
- Layer spinach: Sprinkle half of the chopped fresh spinach over the beef layer.
- Add sauce: Pour about half of the remaining marinara sauce over the spinach and spread it evenly.
- Add mozzarella: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Repeat layers: Repeat the layering process starting with the remaining ravioli, then ricotta, ground beef, spinach, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
- Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the final layer.
- Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours, or until ravioli are tender, cheese is melted, and the lasagna is bubbly.
- Serve: Once cooked, serve hot and enjoy. Optionally garnish with extra basil or Parmesan cheese.
Notes

- Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your crockpot model; check tenderness at 4 hours.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with sautéed mushrooms or plant-based protein.
