Description

Delicious Angel Beef Casserole is a comforting and hearty dish perfect for family dinners. Layers of angel hair pasta, seasoned ground beef, creamy cheeses, and a savory tomato sauce, baked to perfection.

Angel Beef Casserole:

  • 12 oz angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Additional:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Pasta: Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook Beef: In a skillet, heat olive oil, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion, garlic, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Assemble Casserole: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer pasta, cream cheese mixture, beef sauce. Repeat layers. Top with mozzarella.
  6. Bake: Cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.

  • This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
