Dill Pickle Hot Sauce:

  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup pickle brine
  • 1–2 jalapeños chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 small garlic clove minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped pickles, pickle brine, jalapeños, garlic, dill, vinegar, mustard, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  2. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning or heat level as needed. For a thinner sauce, add more brine one tablespoon at a time.
  3. Simmer: Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat for 5–7 minutes to meld the flavors.
  4. Cool and Store: Let cool, then transfer to a clean glass bottle or jar. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using to allow flavors to develop. Shake well before each use.
