Indulge in the rich and luscious Dubai chocolate bar, a delightful treat combining high-quality dark chocolate with creamy condensed milk, naturally sweet dates, crunchy roasted almonds, and tropical coconut flakes. This no-bake recipe is easy to prepare and makes for a perfect homemade snack or gift.

Ingredients

Chocolate Mixture

  • Dark chocolate – 200 grams (about 7 oz)
  • Condensed milk – 100 grams (about 3.5 oz)

Mix-ins

  • Crushed dates – 100 grams (about 3.5 oz)
  • Roasted almonds – 50 grams (about 1.75 oz), chopped

Toppings

  • Coconut flakes – 30 grams (about 1 oz)
  • Sea salt – a pinch

Instructions

  1. Gather Ingredients: Measure out all the ingredients accurately to ensure smooth preparation.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: Using a double boiler or microwave, melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl until fully smooth and melted.
  3. Combine with Condensed Milk: Stir in the condensed milk to the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.
  4. Add Dates and Almonds: Gently fold the crushed dates and chopped roasted almonds into the chocolate mixture ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  5. Prepare Mold: Line a mold or tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  6. Pour Mixture: Transfer the chocolate mixture into the lined mold and spread it evenly.
  7. Add Toppings: Sprinkle coconut flakes over the top along with a pinch of sea salt to enhance flavor.
  8. Chill: Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate sets firmly.
  9. Cut and Serve: Remove from refrigerator, unmold the chocolate block, and cut it into bars or pieces as desired.

Notes

  • Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor and smooth texture.
  • You can substitute roasted almonds with any preferred nuts like pistachios or walnuts.
  • If you prefer sweeter bars, increase condensed milk slightly or add a touch of honey.
  • Keep the bars stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
  • For a vegan version, substitute condensed milk with a sweetened coconut cream or vegan condensed milk alternative.
