Description

These Easter Pretzel Rods are a delightful combination of salty and sweet, making them the perfect treat for the holiday season. Crisp pretzel rods are dipped in creamy white chocolate, adorned with colorful sprinkles, and optional candy melt drizzles, creating a festive and delicious snack that’s great for gifting or enjoying yourself.

Ingredients

Scale

Pretzel Rods:

  • 12 pretzel rods

White Chocolate Coating:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts

Decorations:

  • pastel-colored sprinkles
  • pink, yellow, and blue candy melts (optional for drizzling)

Additional:

  • parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Melt White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or white candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Dip Pretzel Rods: Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted white chocolate, using a spoon to help coat evenly if needed. Tap off any excess chocolate.
  4. Add Decorations: Immediately decorate with pastel sprinkles before the coating sets. Optional: Drizzle melted pink, yellow, and blue candy melts over the dipped rods.
  5. Set Pretzel Rods: Place the decorated pretzel rods on the parchment-lined sheet and allow them to set at room temperature for 30 minutes or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring to tint white chocolate if you don’t have colored candy melts.
  • These pretzel rods make great gifts when wrapped in clear treat bags with festive ribbons.
