Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare Peaches: Pour the canned peaches with their juice evenly into the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle cinnamon over the peaches if using.
  3. Add Cake Mix: Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the peaches—do not stir.
  4. Top with Butter: Place butter slices evenly over the surface of the cake mix, covering as much of the top as possible.
  5. Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
