Instructions
- Sauté Onion: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook Beef Mince: Add the beef mince to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned and fully cooked through.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in the French onion soup mix, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce, combining thoroughly with the beef.
- Simmer: Pour in the beef stock and stir well. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in the frozen peas and carrots, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
