For the Pasta:
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
For the Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Season chicken slices with salt and pepper, then cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter. Cook garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant. Pour in wine or broth and lemon juice. Simmer until slightly reduced.
- Combine Ingredients: Return chicken to skillet, add cooked pasta. Toss together until coated. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.
