Ingredients for Sausage & Broccoli:

  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage (sliced into 1/2-inch rounds)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Sausage: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and brown the sausage slices. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, cook the shrimp with salt and pepper until pink and opaque. Set aside with the sausage.
  3. Prepare the Broccoli: Steam broccoli in the skillet and set aside.
  4. Make the Sauce: Add garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine Everything: Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet. Toss in the sauce and cook until heated through.
