Description

This rich and creamy Hot Chocolate Fudge combines the comforting flavors of hot chocolate and marshmallow creme into an easy-to-make, no-bake dessert. Perfect for holiday gatherings or any time you crave chocolatey sweetness, this fudge is smooth, indulgent, and sets up to a luscious, sliceable treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup hot chocolate mix powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Chocolate & Flavorings

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it to ensure the fudge can be easily removed once set.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, evaporated milk, hot chocolate mix powder, and salt. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the mixture is evenly combined.
  3. Boil Mixture: Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, then maintain the boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning or scorching on the pan’s bottom.
  4. Add Chocolate Chips: Remove the saucepan from heat immediately after boiling. Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips until they are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  5. Incorporate Marshmallow Creme & Vanilla: Stir the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture until completely blended, creating a creamy fudge batter.
  6. Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top evenly with a spatula. Let it cool at room temperature until set, then refrigerate for about 1 hour to firm up before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For added texture and flavor, fold in mini marshmallows or a pinch of cinnamon after mixing in the marshmallow creme.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
