Fries:
- 1 bag (28 oz) frozen seasoned French fries
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Toppings:
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Optional: jalapeño slices or diced tomatoes for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the fries: Toss frozen fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
- Add cheese: Transfer fries to a dish, sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over them. Bake for 5–7 minutes until melted.
- Top and serve: Top with bacon, sour cream, green onions, and optional toppings. Serve hot.
Notes
- Try using waffle or curly fries for extra texture.
- Ranch dressing or chipotle aioli can be served on the side for dipping.
- To make it vegetarian, omit bacon or use plant-based crumbles.
