Description

These Mediterranean chicken patties are bursting with flavor from feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and aromatic spices. Juicy and delicious, they make a perfect protein-packed meal for any day of the week.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes (oil-packed and drained)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, red onion, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  2. Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Cook Patties: Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Rest and Serve: Remove from heat and let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving. Enjoy on a salad, in a pita, or with roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of chicken.
  • You can also grill the patties instead of pan-frying.
  • These patties freeze well—shape and freeze raw, then thaw and cook when ready.
