Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes (oil-packed and drained)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, red onion, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- Form Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties about 1/2-inch thick.
- Cook Patties: Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Rest and Serve: Remove from heat and let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving. Enjoy on a salad, in a pita, or with roasted vegetables.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use ground turkey instead of chicken.
- You can also grill the patties instead of pan-frying.
- These patties freeze well—shape and freeze raw, then thaw and cook when ready.
