Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Butter an 8×8 inch pan thoroughly and set it aside to get ready for the peanut butter mixture.
- Make the Base Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and peanut butter. Use a hand mixer or spoon to blend until the ingredients are fully incorporated into a uniform mixture.
- Add Reese’s Candy: Gently fold the bag of Reese’s Baking Cups and Reese’s Pieces into the mixture by hand, ensuring even distribution without crushing the pieces too much. Then transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down evenly to form the base layer of the bars.
- Prepare the Chocolate Layer: Place the milk chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well, then continue microwaving in 15-second increments, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Assemble and Chill: Pour the melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter base layer. Sprinkle mini Reese’s Pieces on top immediately to decorate. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for 1 hour until the chocolate sets and bars firm up.
- Serve: Remove from refrigerator and cut into 9 bars. Serve chilled for best texture and flavor.
