Ripe Bananas:
2 to 3 ripe bananas (mashed, about 1 cup)
Unsalted Butter:
1/3 cup melted
Granulated Sugar:
3/4 cup
Large Egg:
1, beaten
Vanilla Extract:
1 teaspoon
Baking Soda:
1 teaspoon
Salt:
1/4 teaspoon
All-Purpose Flour:
1 1/2 cups
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas, add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add dry ingredients: Sprinkle in baking soda, salt, and flour. Stir until just combined.
- Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 55–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool and serve: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
