Description

These delicious no-bake Peanut Butter Bars combine a buttery, crunchy graham cracker crust with rich, creamy peanut butter and a smooth chocolate topping. Perfect as an easy and indulgent dessert or snack, they can be prepared in just 15 minutes and chilled without any oven time required.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Mixture

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Chocolate Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of creamy peanut butter. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Press into Pan: Firmly press the peanut butter mixture into the bottom of a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking dish to create an even crust layer.
  3. Melt Chocolate and Peanut Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate chips together with 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
  4. Spread Topping: Pour the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture evenly over the prepared crust in the baking dish, using a spatula to smooth the surface.
  5. Chill Until Set: Refrigerate the assembled bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate topping is firm and set.
  6. Cut and Serve: Once chilled, cut into 24 bars and serve either chilled or at room temperature for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Bars can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
  • For added texture and crunch, use crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.
