- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, softened butter, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- Make the topping: Whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans.
- Assemble and bake: Pour the topping over the hot crust and bake for 25–30 minutes until set. Cool, then cut into bars.
