  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (slurry)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Prepare the chicken wings: Pat the chicken wings dry and toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 40–45 minutes until crispy and golden brown, turning once.
  3. Make the pineapple glaze: In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Simmer and add the cornstarch slurry. Cook until thickened.
