Description
Cool off on a hot day with this easy and refreshing Pineapple Lemonade. Made with fresh pineapple, zesty lemon juice, and a hint of sweetness, this drink is perfect for summer gatherings or just relaxing by the pool.
Ingredients
Scale
Lemonade:
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice
Garnish:
- lemon and pineapple slices
- fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Blend Pineapple and Lemon Juice: In a blender, combine the fresh pineapple chunks and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the Mixture: Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp, if desired.
- Add Sugar and Water: Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Add the cold water and mix well.
- Adjust Sweetness and Serve: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Add ice to the pitcher and stir again. Serve chilled in glasses over more ice, and garnish with lemon slices, pineapple wedges, or mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace 1–2 cups of the water with club soda.
- You can also use honey or agave syrup instead of sugar.
- Fresh or canned pineapple works, but fresh gives the best flavor.
