For the Rose Simple Syrup:

Instructions
- Prepare the Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add dried rose petals, simmer on low for 5–7 minutes, then steep for 15–20 minutes. Strain out petals using a fine mesh sieve. If using rose water, stir it in after removing from heat. Add food coloring if desired.
- Cool and Store: Let the syrup cool completely, then transfer to a clean glass jar or bottle. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
