Description

These Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a delicious and convenient breakfast option. Fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melted cheddar cheese are rolled up in flaky crescent dough for a satisfying morning treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)

Sausage:

  • 4 breakfast sausage links, cooked and halved lengthwise

Scrambled Eggs:

  • 4 large eggs, scrambled and cooked

Cheese:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Additional:

  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook Eggs: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the scrambled eggs with milk, salt, and pepper until just set; remove from heat.
  3. Prepare Roll-Ups: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. On the wide end of each triangle, layer a spoonful of scrambled eggs, half a sausage link, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Roll up each triangle, enclosing the filling.
  4. Bake: Place the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  5. Serve: Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can prepare the sausage and eggs ahead of time for a quicker morning assembly.
  • Swap cheddar with pepper jack or mozzarella for different flavor profiles.
  • Great for freezing—reheat in the oven or toaster oven for a quick breakfast.
