Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails on
  • ½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare breadcrumb mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir in olive oil and lemon juice until mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Prepare shrimp: Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a baking dish, cut side up. Spoon breadcrumb mixture over each shrimp, pressing it in place. Drizzle olive oil on top.
  4. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until shrimp are opaque and topping is golden brown.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes
