  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Optional Toppings:

  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss broccoli: In a large mixing bowl, toss broccoli with olive oil, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until coated.
  3. Roast: Spread broccoli on the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp.
  4. Finish: Remove from the oven, squeeze lemon juice if desired, and top with Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat level.
  • For extra crispiness, broil the broccoli for the last 2 minutes.
