Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, and beat until smooth. Mix in boiling water until batter is thin.
