Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spicy sausage (pork or chicken)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick or baking mix

Seasonings:

  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

For Serving:

  • Ranch or spicy dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, pepper jack cheese, Bisquick, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Roll the Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with ranch or spicy dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar cheese for pepper jack for a milder version.
  • These can be made ahead and frozen before baking—just add a few extra minutes of bake time straight from frozen.
